Last Tuesday I promised you the daily visual management wall. Here it is.

Quick test: pull up the last AI-generated report your plant produced. The production plan, the vendor risk list, the pilot check, whatever it was. When was it last opened?

If the honest answer is "the week we made it," you already know the problem. It was not the AI output that failed. It was the review habit that never existed.

A report competes with email, WhatsApp, and the next fire on the floor - and it loses. A wall does not compete with anything. It is just there when the shift walks past it.

The wall does not replace the report. It is the five-minute version that actually gets read.

ONE FIELD NOTE

The report was the best five minutes of the review meeting. Then it went into a folder named "Final_v3."

A pilot check, a vendor risk list, a production plan - the pattern repeats across every issue we have covered so far. The output lands well in the room where it was presented. Everyone nods. Someone screenshots a slide.

Three weeks later, nobody can say whether the plan is still accurate, whether the risk list changed, or whether the number quoted in the meeting still holds. Not because anyone decided to stop caring. Because there was never a second moment built in to check.

The fix is not a better report. It is a scheduled, five-minute second look - in a place nobody has to remember to open.

A report proves the AI worked once. A wall proves the plant is still using it.

You are helping a plant manager convert a report into a daily/weekly visual management wall card.

I will give you a report or data output. Do not invent numbers not present in the source.

TASK:
1. Identify the three numbers from this report that best answer: are we on track, and who owns the next move if not.
2. For each number, propose a RAG (Red/Amber/Green) threshold based on any targets stated in the source. If no target is stated, say so explicitly and ask me for one instead of inventing it.
3. Write one wall card: three lines, each with [number] [RAG color] [owner if Red/Amber].
4. Write the one sentence a shift-floor employee needs to understand each number, in plain language, no jargon.
5. Flag anything in the source that is too stale, too incomplete, or too sensitive to put on a shared wall.

The line doing the work is ask me for one instead of inventing it. A threshold the AI invents is a threshold nobody trusts under pressure. The plant manager still sets the line between Amber and Red. The prompt only builds the card.

One reported car-manufacturing case study found a 20% productivity increase within six months of adopting a daily huddle board. A separate case study on a pharmaceutical manufacturer reported a 15% improvement in regulatory compliance adherence after the same change. Both are third-party vendor case studies, not Scalatris client outcomes - treat as directional, not proof.

My read: the mechanism is not the huddle. It is the forced, scheduled second look. An AI output with no scheduled second look gets the same fate as a report nobody was ever going to reopen.
